IN CHARACTER

Character Name: Lucina
Canon: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Canon Point: Post-Chapter 26: Grima

In-Game Tattoo Placement: Upper right shoulder
Current Health/Status: Alive and healthy
Age: 20, approximately
Species: Human

History: Here, with F!Robin as her mother and M!Morgan as her little brother.

Personality: Lucina is a young woman defined, first and foremost, by her sense of dedication. Her entire character is built upon the strong and painful duty she carries of changing the past so that the apocalyptic future she lived through is averted, her family and friends' families are left whole, innocent people are spared horrible deaths, and the world can thrive and be at peace. To this she feels honor bound and does everything she can to not waver from her resolve. However, there are instances where she cannot bring herself to act - for example, since Robin is her mother, she breaks down when trying to make good on her word to kill Robin as the vessel of Grima who is pivotal to preventing the bad future. There is just too much love in Lucina's heart for her to turn to matricide.

Family is very important to Lucina. Having grown up with her time with both parents cut short (Chrom by dying and Robin by becoming evil), she values even the smallest moments of bonding she can have with them and will stoop to being just a touch devious to keep herself close to both. For example, in her C Support with Chrom, it's implied that she threw their impromptu sparring session to get Chrom to agree to train her more, and she denies this accusation with a smile. In her Mother Supports with Robin, she is excited to do mundane things like shop for clothes, and is thrilled when, upon expressing her concerns that she's not really Robin's daughter on account of baby!Lucina living safe and sound in Ylisstol, Robin reassures her that such a thing isn't the case at all. In her Sibling Supports with Morgan, she does her best to try and instill a sense of duty in him as a fellow royal by making clear the importance of Falchion, though her methods are a bit harsh, hilighting the hell of war and the possibility that she may fall while following her resolve - however, she does realize afterwards that her phrasing was not okay, and reconciles with her little amnesiatic brother. Things that have been given to Lucina by her family in various ways (Falchion, her tiara, a pendant in her B Support with Gerome) are her dearest treasures, and she takes great care of them when she can, not wanting any of the items to be harmed. She also inherited her father's tendency to damage things while training. Oops...?

Lucina values friendship and her comrades, especially the other future children, some of which she has known for most of her life. Despite their colorful personalities and quirks, she finds a way to get along with each of them, and is more than willing to go along with whatever weird and wacky schemes the might be up to. Specific noteworthy examples are her supports with Cynthia, who convinces her of the importance of flashy team attacks in battling foes and inspiring troops, and her supports with Owain and being able to translate his...Owain-ness, even to the point of trying out his penchant for naming things herself - even if it did lead to the unfortunate "Pointy Demonspanker" moniker. She's also willing to protect her friends should they not feel confident in battle, offers advice and medicine when needed even though it might be declined, and can even talk them down from some not-so-kind ways of thinking just from her purehearted resolve alone. She believes that each of her friends and allies is equal, whether the be weak or strong, healer or warrior, and she will not have them stand on ceremony for her sake. They're all fighting together, and the more united they are, the better their chances of success.

These three Fs - Future, Family, and Friends - are what drive her forward, but the emphasis she puts on them can hold her back. In her supports with Brady and Tiki, her hardworking nature is touched upon with genuine concern that she will work herself sick by training, running errands - basically trying to be everywhere at once and be as useful to the cause as possible. Her serious mindset can keep her from properly understanding jokes, and rarely does she ever crack any herself, the weight of every decision she makes preventing her from properly expressing levity. So focused on preventing the bad future as she is, most of her life has dealt with war, death, and pain, keeping her from developing proper hobbies to pass the time or any sense of aesthetic taste; normal, peacetime life is not something she knows well, but she is willing to learn and experience it at least. (She can, however, express ability in hobbies with practical uses and outcomes, such as knitting.) Her tendency to take on markers of fate veering back on its course for her timeline (Emmeryn's death, Basilio's death, her inability to kill Robin, etc.) has the potential to put incredible strain on her heart and bring her down.

OVERALL:

+ HAS DETERMINATION THAT GIVES UNDERTALE A RUN FOR ITS MONEY
+ SUPER DEPENDABLE
+ GREAT STRENGTH AND SKILL IN COMBAT
+/- PUTS OTHERS BEFORE HER OWN WELL BEING
+/- REFUSES TO FORGET WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO HER
+/- CANNOT ALWAYS BRING HERSELF TO TAKE DRASTIC MEASURES
- WILL BLAME HERSELF FOR EVERY LITTLE MISTAKE
- OBLIVIOUS TO MOST HUMOR
- HAS A LIMITED CONCEPT OF LIFE OUTSIDE OF WAR

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping: Lucina is a highly skilled swordswoman, able to hold her own against waves of enemies both in game cutscenes and in actual gameplay. She is also one of the few in the Fire Emblem universe to be able to wield the Falchion, which is limited only to worthy heirs of her bloodline. Her in-game skills include Dual Strike+ (boosts the rate of triggering a dual strike), Charm (boosts the accuracy and evasive capabilities of all allied units within a 3 tile radius), and Aether (deals two consecutive hits, the first draining a portion of the opponent's HP and the second bypassing the opponent's defenses). As she is Robin's daughter in this iteration, her inherited skill is Solidarity (boosts chance for neighboring allies to both avoid or deal critical hits). She also gains Rightful King (increases the chance of skills like Aether activating by 10%) as she levels up. These skills translated into an RP setting would manifest as follows:

1 - Lucina is observant and quick on her feet in battle. She can tell when an opponent leaves an opening and will take that advantage.

2 - Her just, focused nature inspires those close to her to give their all, whether it be in actually hitting an enemy, dodging an enemy's attacks, or striking decisive blows (this is for both Charm and Solidarity).

3 - She has studied swordplay to the point of learning advanced tactics, and still continues to train to ever hone her skill.

4 - She has the energy, stamina, and drive needed to act on these skills often, even if it pushes her to her limits.

These are by no means magical or supernatural powers; rather, they come with a lifetime of training. Still, if anything in particular needs to be nerfed, I am more than willing to abide.
